Celebrate Pride Month with Sachiyo Ishii's colourful rainbow gonk, all made in DK yarn.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be releasing a brand-new themed gonk to celebrate the changing seasons and special moments throughout the year – and this month, we’re kicking things off with a colourful Pride design. Using simple stocking stitch throughout, you’ll shape the body and hat with carefully placed increases and decreases, helping to build confidence in construction and finishing skills. The striped hat offers a fun introduction to colour changes, while the gathered shaping creates the gonk’s signature rounded form. You’ll also learn how to seam and stuff knitted pieces neatly, attach small details and create a full textured beard using lengths of yarn.
